1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep on your device. The next time you visit, the browser sends the cookie back so the site can remember something useful, such as a language preference or whether you have already seen a privacy notice. Similar mechanisms include local storage and session storage, which work in much the same way.
2. The cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary storage. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies, and no cross-site trackers on this website. The complete list is:
- cookie_ok_v1 — kept in your browser's local storage. Stores the fact that you accepted the privacy notice so it does not appear on every page. Set by us, expires after twelve months or when you clear your browser data.
- Embedded map storage — the embedded Google map on the contact page may set its own cookies when it loads, governed by Google's own policy. We do not control these cookies and we do not receive any data from them.
3. Why we keep it minimal
We believe a brochure-style website like ours does not need elaborate tracking to be useful. By keeping cookies to the essentials, we make this page easier to read and reduce the amount of information collected about you. This also makes it simpler for you to understand what is happening.
4. Managing your preferences
You can clear, block, or restrict cookies at any time using the settings inside your browser. Each browser handles this slightly differently:
- Chrome. Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox. Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari. Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge. Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Blocking essential cookies may cause the privacy notice to reappear on every visit, but otherwise will not affect the content of the website.
5. Do Not Track
This website does not run advertising or behavioural tracking, so there is nothing to disable when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" header. We respect the signal in spirit by collecting only what we need to provide the site.
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever add a new category of cookies, we will update this page and refresh the date at the top before the change takes effect. We will also adjust the privacy notice so you can review your choice.
7. Questions
